This is Julius’ best and most consequential interview. And I’m glad that I watched it in its entirety. I was initially put off by the label “love story” not realizing that the “love story” encompassed the entire Buencamino family, and not just Nonie and Shamaine. Having been away from the 🇵🇭 for more than a decade, I had no idea that they went through so much heartbreak. And props to them for their advocacy. Bravo!

Respect to this couple. They're both smart. How they carried the pain of losing a child is so admirable. They did not allow themselves to get lost in the darkness of such unbearable pain. Instead, they created something good to come out of it with their advocacy on mental health awareness. God bless you. Continue to be the light and inspiration to others.

Great interview! I attempted to take my own life at 17 years old and my mother found me. I remember how much she screamed and begged me to stay with her hanggang maka rating kami sa ER. And she didnt sleep for awhile just to watch over me, and I told myself I will try harder and hold on much longer so that she doesnt have to go through that again. For my mom, I am holding on.

Julius has found his new calling. I wasn't intending to watch this, but I ended up finishing the interview. Very tastefully done. He managed to respect the sensitivity of the topic, yet was able to coax the stories out of the Buencaminos. Well done.

Naging neighbor namin sila sa Los Banos, Laguna that time pregnant si Ms. Shamaine kay Julia. Super gandang baby ni Julia, ng ipanganak para syang manika. I still remember their second child Gorio na sobrang lambing palagi sya lumilipat sa amin para mag kwento😁. God bless po Buencamino Family.
