Most people these days have become so disconnected with how their foods gets to the table. When I was a kid I watched my mum and grandma raise and slaughter chickens. It didn't make me say yuck, pull faces or make me want to eat less. It just made me more appreciative of the food and the effort it took to get it to the table.
