Hi friends! Rach here, and I’m back with another episode of Project Profit! This is the series where I finds free or low cost second hand items with the goal of trying to flip them for some cash. All profits made from the series are donated to various charitable causes!

Super excited to show you all this simple and elevated IKEA hack. Today we are turning a basic (but beloved) IKEA KALLAX unit, into a stunning blue storage bench with arched fronts!

We are happy to announce (based on your amazing suggestions) the remaining profits of just over $1000 will be going to go to Days for Girls. This is an organization that works to eliminate the stigma and limitations associated with menstruation by providing access to adequate supplies and education so that women and girls have improved health and livelihoods. Rachel, what a nice treat to see you back. I always enjoy your makeovers. I love watching people upcycle Ikea furniture. You did a great job on this one.🌺😀

Good to see you back! When they said there was some changes coming up, i got worried.
  • I'm excited for From the Workshop Floor! Saturday mornings are my "cozy videos" mornings and this is going to really hit the spot! See you Saturday! <3
  • @marleen1
i feel like it would also be so cute in a dual tone such as olive and maroon for the arches
  • @aqsakayy
Absolutely LOVE this bench - goes perfectly in my space 🩵
  • @jadef8
I was unsure about the blue at first but it's such a pretty colour! An achievable DIY too! I unfortunately don't have room for a workshop in my little condo to attempt this, but that's what parents and their fully decked out garage is for 😉 Can't wait for the new series on Saturday! Much love from Montreal 🩷
  • @lechatbotte.
Saturday with the girls better than Saturday morning cartoons lol
  • @xingcat
A great upcycle! Kallax is so versatile for making all sorts of things, and more money towards charity, yay!
  • @v_iika
I'm so glad you offered your audience members a chance to buy it! I would love to see that continue in future DIY projects too
  • @harryrolph

I love Rachael’s energy and style, so I’m super excited to see a new video featuring her! That light blue color is beautiful! Light and dusty/muted blues are one of my colors that I love decorating with! I’ve been OBSESSED with blue lately.
  • @sazennonumber
I am so excited that you girls will be appearing together on Saturdays!! It will be great. Yesssss!!!!
  • @viivi4196
happy to see rachel back! this bench turned out great, I especially like how the arches look! I think I voted for the orange color in ig but now I think it would've been too dark. personally I would've painted it a warm yellow if I was making it, but this blue is the best one from the colors you were choosing from!
