I can’t believe how casual you sound telling this story. It’s like miracle after miracle. Prayer answered after prayer answered. Wow. Is that what life is like being close to Jesus? I want that.

Aw man, just what I needed to hear! A beautiful story that makes me cry. God is SO good!

Oh Sadie! I was literally crying and had goose bumps when you talked about Honey being stuck. I had similar. Cord was around my son’s neck. His head was blue. Lips black. He wasn’t breathing. I prayed. Some reason. I thought. I want him to hear my voice before he passes. I said. Brendan Christopher Mommy loves you. He opened his little eyes and turned towards my voice. The nurses (like ten of them). Started to rub him vigorously. When he started to cry. It was the most beautiful sound I had ever heard. I was crying. The tears turned from fear to joy. By the Grace of God. He didn’t have any problems from the cord! Also. I accidentally passed gas in the poor nurse’s face! I died! I couldn’t feel. The epidural was working. I couldn’t apologize enough! I love y’all. Praise the Lord Honey and you are safe and healthy!

I still have a loooooonnnng time before I even consider having a baby of my own, but your story is so inspirational that I hope I can be such a light if I ever get pregnant! Like I want to be reminded to pray constantly, to worship through it all, to have that peace, to have fun, and to trust God with that stuff! This was just so inspirational I love it!!!

During birth, my shoulder also became stuck, however the doctor broke my brachial plexus in my right shoulder at the Erb point. I have maybe 40% mobility of my shoulder and elbow joint, after 3 surgeries growing up. However, it’s a miracle this situation didn’t happen to your sweet, strong Honey! Such a blessing
  • I'm sure, every mom here was recalling her own birth stories while you shared yours...what a gift!

Beautiful! I’m so happy that you are all healthy and doing well! I love how you say that “Nothing I planned for, but everything I prayed for happened.” That is similar to my birth story. I’m very thankful that I am healthy now after a rough labor and pregnancy, and my baby boy who is still on oxygen, is doing great and growing stronger each and every day! May God bless you and your beautiful family! Keep on encouraging us all pleeeeeaaase!
  • Sadie and Christian, that was such an inspirational story!! You both and Honey had so many prayers going up for y’all and still do!! I can’t wait to see the amazing memories your family makes together!! The Lord is truly amazing in every plan that He has and I’m so thankful He was with y’all every step of the way!! Honey is absolutely beautiful and God gave her the perfect parents!! ❤️❤️
  • Thank you for being so vulnerable. I'm a mother of 6! I've had very different labors for all 6 babies. My 5th daughter's name is Liv who stopped moving in the womb at 30 weeks and I literally thought she was already in heaven on the way to the hospital. Well Liv just turned 5 this week and I just have to share with you how much the cover of your book Live blessed me with the definition of Liv on the cover. Also, she was born 10 weeks preemie and had life threatening problems. But God gave us the courage to keep trusting him and in April 2020 we had #6 our first boy!
  • Beautiful… I am crying my eyes out! The Father is so good! Your story builds up my faith in how amazing his grace is, it is miraculous, life giving, and so filled with joy! I am in the process of a storm but I am so touched by the presence of God as you both are sharing and glorifying Jesus.
