  • I can't even believe the potential once Brightline extends to Tampa... Tampa International, The Port of Tampa all being connected by rail through Orlando International and onward to those ports and airports on the east coast. Such an exciting time for Central Florida! I hope the Tampa line comes sooner rather than later!

Great video. This is exactly the kind of travel video that many of us want to see. Thank you for showcasing the process from beginning to end and covering all of the bases. Nicely done.

I love Brightline, we used it for our last cruise, flew into Ft. Lauderdale had hotel in Aventura and sailed out of Miami. it was cheaper and more convenient to do it that way. I hope passenger trains catch on in the US finally
  • We're excited in CA as well because that is the service chosen for our long wished-for HSR from SoCal to Vegas! Construction has already begun though traversing the mountains will be interesting. Anything is better than the 15 though! I am sharing this on my page so people unfamiliar with Brightline will see. I am also so happy FL is expanding, that plus JetBlue will make us happy!

Really appreciate that you clearly did lots of research before this review. I work in the passenger rail industry and I thought your explanations throughout the train service (like talking about the top speeds and track conditions) were excellent. Great video!
  • I really hope we get more high speed rails in this country. I would rather do a train over flying or driving. I just wish it existed more around the country
  • This is the best one I have seen so far. Im taking it in July to West Palm Beach. I cant wait!
  • Thank you so much for this! You’ve made this Aussie’s trip so much easier as this is exactly how I’ll be travelling to and from Ft Lauderdale for our upcoming cruise and I was thinking it would be so much harder but it’s not. You’ve simplified it so much for me. You guys are so great to watch. Thanks again.
  • Awesome service! You could have mentioned Brightline is planning to expand the service towards Tampa in the future, with a stop on/near Disney property (and possibly one near the convention center & the universal properties) When that finally opens, it will become even more convenient to take the train to your disney cruise :)

Great video! I appreciate you taking the time to provide your honest opinion of Brightline.

I would love to see a Brightline from Houston to Orlando. High speed trains are a great way to travel. Thank you for the video.

Just to let you know the tracks are Florida East Coast Railroad. Amtrak does not use those tracks as they run down the center of the state until West Palm where they join up on the same tracks as that Tri-rail uses. We love Brightline.. Thanks for the video!

Well you convinced me to try brightline. Thanks for the video 😊

For a Brightline first experience, my wife and I did the round trip WPB to OLO "smart" class mid-January 2024. Extremely impressed as you were with everything. Fortunately, the train car we were in did not have the exterior wrap, obscuring the window. That seems like it would be a big disappointment.
  • @TrainMike2013
The main reason for the 110 mph limit is due to the NIMBYs in the area not wanting to allow fast trains in their area. They could have upgraded the crossings to European high speed standards but the counties had those same NIMBYs blocking local government spending to do so. The trip across the entire line should be around 30 minutes faster but blame those who interfered.

Great video! Was wondering about taking this train to a cruise. Looks like the way to go.
  • @hpenner1
There are NO Amtrak trains on Brightline [Florida East Coast ] rails. Amtrak uses CSX rails to Miami, and Orlando. There are FEC freight trains on Brightline rails.
  • @melissagrimm8771
Great video!! So much information!! Thanks for doing this video.
  • @Amicia-liz
