@DeliverTheWord1 Several years ago I reverted to Catholicism and found Jesus in the Holy Eucharist. I never knew Mary as a mother and then one day I told her this and said, "but I would like to". Since, Mary has become a gentle helper and mother as I struggle in my battles. She's full of grace and takes nothing away from her divine Son, but helps us come closer to him. Every family needs a mother and Jesus shares his mother with us.

You have found the life and holiness in the Blessed Holy Mother of God who helps and saves all her children when prayed to. During the first miracle on earth by God Almighty Jesus, the Holy Mother just told the servants DO WHAT HE SAYS even though the Lord said MY TIME HAS NOT COME. Christ's 12 disciples are different from one another like every individual. There is Peter who was made the head of His church. But there is one disciple closest to his heart. John. To him, Jesus entrusted His mother. We catholics are like John. We took Mary into our homes. We are close to Jesus hearts.

We are, Catechism of the Catholic Church states we are brothers in Christ for the grace of Baptism , and love to Jesus.

As Catholics, we tend to forget or dismiss our blessed mother Mary. Are we judging God for sending an angel to call her blessed? Or, are we simply jealous for having a simple peasant girl elevated to the highest by God himself? It is amazing how God gives us everything we need. Just like our own physical mother comes to our aid when she senses that we are in danger, even without us being close or saying a word, our blessed mother is there to pick us up when we are in danger of sin or helplessnes

To DeliverTheWord1, we, as Catholics do the same, we only worship Jesus. Our pray to Mary His mother we start by saying 'Hail' Mary. We are not worshipping Mary we are honoring her as the Mother of our Lord, who stood at the foot of the cross with Him. If you are struggling to find the truth, may I recommend that you read some of Scott Hahn's books he is a convert. My prays are with you. God bless

Every one who wants to be a brother of Christ must acknowledge His mother, which is Mary. Do not afraid of loving Our Lady too much, because you cannot love her that much as Jesus did. For the Devil is afraid to be crushed by the Woman(Mary). He will spread errors in attacking her children.. God Bless! Pray the Rosary so we can defeat this heresies against the Catholic church.
