The dog of a groomers nightmares 😅

Note to self, as someone who grooms her own dogs (a Pomeranian and a Pekingese): never, ever get a corded hair dog.

As a Black girl with “corded hair” aka dread locs for 20yrs, she and I would have to go to the loctician together! I don’t even wash my OWN “coat”😂She’s stunning

Rosie is a high maintenance dog that gave Vanessa one of the least amount of problems I've ever seen in any of her grooms. What a beautiful temperament Rosie has! 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹

I’ve seen dogs with bows in their hair but never a scrunchie. That was cute.

Everyone wishes to have a groomer as skilled as Vanessa, I wished I had a hairstylist as skilled as her

The fact that the owner has scrunchies for her, and sought out Vanessa to groom her says alot and explains why she is a happy adjusted dog.

"It would be better to soak her cords" Me with locs: Vanessa totally understands. Washing cleans mostly the scalp and surface. Soaking deep cleans and softens the locs/cords

The look on Rosie's face as Vanessa was shaving her "sanitary" area was 100% the look on my face when I'm at the gynecologist! It's the "this is not happening to me" face.

Can we get a round of applause for Rosie, for being so a good, patient, well-behaved girl? Well done, Vanessa, who certainly also deserves applause!

Her temperament is amazing. She genuinely looks like a happy doggo 💕❣️

I’m only about 3/4 of the way through, but this is the most well behaved dog ever! She’s probably very used to grooming with no traumatic grooming experiences, which makes me so happy to see.

I love how on dogs it's "corded", but on people it's "locs". I considered getting a komondor at one point, but dealing with my own locs is plenty of work for me. Maybe I should try using the dog's shampoo nozzle on my locs, it looks like it soaks through faster than me washing in the kitchen sink! I've recently started using his high velocity dryer on myself. So much faster than a human dryer. 😆

She loves adventuring outside and we love how happy it makes her - even if it means extra grooming and cleaning! Rosie has a sister, Rocket, 5 months old. They have the same parents and are from litters 3 years apart. Rocket isn’t a mop yet (more like a feather duster) but she will cord in a few months and we will probably be walking around with two black mop dogs soon enough!🎉

The desperation in Vanessa's voice when she asks Rosie to not shake is truly moving, and the look on her face when Rosie does shake is priceless.

I’m from Hungary,we love pulis,they are a national treasure,very intelligent, extremely loyal,love kids,all around a great dog,need exercise, if you don’t want to deal with the cords, get the next best thing….. Pumi. Pumi has the same characteristics but doesn’t have cords,also a Hungarian herding dog!

I'm always amazed by people who can handle dogs with high maintenance coats like this. Staying on top of my dogs' exercise and enrichment needs is enough for me, I can't imagine having to do a ton of grooming on top of that!

I've never seen a pup that suits her name really well. Rosy is really really adorable with her lil ponytail on top of her head. She's so well behaved throughout the groom❤❤❤❤
