Nobody: Absolutely Nobody: Purplecliffe: SUNKERN

Mikey: *explaining how Staravia is a good choice 2 seconds later Papasea: I'm not taking Staravias that's just stupid
-
I’ve been thinking about this problem for a full 14 minutes and 18 seconds, and I think the best answer I have is Snorlaxs and Sunkern. You have the Snorlax defend you while the Sunkern absolutely destroy everything else with solar beam. Jack is right, 10,000 of any Pokémon (that can do some form of damage) would be better than any of the other options.
-
I caught a Sunkern just as Jack started talking about his 20,000 Sunkern lmfao. Gotta love how polar opposite his and Mikey's responses were.
-
I love how John was supporting Super Blah’s choice by saying that the Seviper can’t stab you in the sky, when that was his plan to take care of Staravia
-
I love seeing all the different approaches to the question in this video. Like mikey took a very analytical approach and Jack just went all In without thinking twice
-
I love how John enthusiastically agrees with every answer
-
Option 1: You find the mythical reverse Slaking that loafs around on Turn 1 and add a regular Slaking. You now have two Slakings loafing on alternating turns. Then you take the 10,000 Sunkerns, which are your death fodder. On the turns Slaking 1 is loafing, you send in the hoard as a meat shield for Slaking 2. This Sunkern shield alternates along with the Slaking. Option 2: You choose Ash and his plot armor protects you. You also take the Staravias because 50 Staravias using teamwork to beat back all these other Pokemon is absolutely something that would happen in an episode. My castle defense is perfect.

John: "makes a fictional picture of a seviper on tauros army without carijg about stats" Mikey comes in: STATISTICS! BASE STAT TOTALS!
-
Bro Ash got hands. Remember when he held a 2000 lbs Pokémon in like it was a gem?
-
Jack sold me tbh. Though I will say, given the stat total, 20k isn't much more than 10k. So I'd probably go Sunkern alongside Arcanine. Arcanine being generally agreed as the biggest Sunkern counter, as well as giving you, as the trainer, an option to maneuver about the battlefield, as I THINK it's the fastest among the choices. Except Ash. Ash is pretty fast.
-
Just stumbled across this video. Sunkern and Arcanine go hard. Taking Arcanine removes Sunkerns biggest weakness. Pop a Sunny Day and spam Growth, Solar Beam, Leech Seed, Synthesis, and Seed Bomb. It also had Ingrain and Grassy Terrain for insane healing. The Arcanine also has Sunny Day and Solar Beam. A bunch of STAB fire moves, some coverage with the elemenal fang moves, double kick and close combat, and extreme speed.
-
Jack definitely knows about power in number. "Apes together stronger".
-
Sunkern, absolutely. 10000 will beat everything else on the field by themselves. Just like the one with rats, people really don't understand how much 10000 is in this situation.
-
When seeing this at first, I had the same idea as Mikey. Now that I think about it, I think I would go Sunkern/Arcanine. Arcanine can use Sunny Day, and Sunkern has Chlorophyl. Assuming speed works comparable to Mystery Dungeon in this example, your small army of seeds is moving at Mach speeds, while you ride off on an Arcanine into the sunset

The sunkerns are far and away the best choice. Even if you got none of the other Pokémon you would have more than 100 to 1 for each opposing Pokémon. Lets they are all hypothetically level 50. Even if you had max health IV and EV blissey and each sunkern was only doing one damage per hit the blissey wouldn’t even survive four turns. In reality tho you aren’t going to have the same health as blissey and the sunkerns are not only going to be doing 1 damage to everything. Also, with each Pokémon that the sunkerns kill the remaining Pokémon have even more sunkerns to face, resulting in a snowball effect that would easily win you the battle.
-
You know what? I'm actually agreeing with Jack on this one. 20,000 Sunkern
-
Everyone else: comes up with good, thoughtful plans Jack: S U N K E R N
-
Mikey was definitely the best interpretation of this. Best odds of staying alive and escaping. Nothing was said of WINNING the battle to the last 'Mon.

10000 sunkern as a wall and 50 staravia to pick off the enemy, pretty much you are completly protected by your sunkern hoard while the staravia do the hard work (of course the staravia would also use double team spam so they don't get killed)
