AFKing 9 to 5: Zeah Runecrafting (Blood & Soul Runes)

Gotr outfit + home tele runes (with pool + fairy ring). Never lose run. Dust, law, blood, or if you have divine pouch you can use air and earth. Im doing closer to 900k/hr like this with bloods at 260/ea. Mine inventory, darken, chisel while running back to mine, mine again, darken it, home tele, pool, fairy ring CIS, run to altar, make runes, repeat.

I did this method from 79 RC all to way to getting the pet around 17m (swapped to soul runes the moment I hit 90 RC and stook with it). Some tips: - Get a ring of endurance. While it is a massive investment, it does make the headache of run energy disappear. I did the grind around 75 agility and I never had to worry about run energy. However, this leads me to point Nr2 - If you want a more AFK method at the cost of xp/profit, auto craft the essence blocks at the altar. This gives you about 40 ish seconds of AFK time where you cut the blocks into essence. While this extends your trip, it does provide you with a "set" amount of AFK time, perfect to finish a sentence in the mail, check an entry in the report,... And you also stand still, regaining run energy - If you're using blood essence, I noticed it's more beneficial to keep a stack of unused blood essences on you. The time it takes to teleport to a bank, swap essence, run back, is more beneficial in terms of xp/hr in the long run, but if you plan to do this in short bursts it barely pays any benefits. If you're camping this spot from 77 to 99 without doing anything else, it will result in a bigger xp/hr in the long run. Other than that, keep a few spare blood essence on you so that you an just camp the spot, making it more AFK but costing you a bit of xp/hr at the "cost"of a more relaxed and profitable alternative - I noticed that on less populated worlds, I had more moments where the essence mine lasted longer. Not sure if other people can also deplete the node, but I had moments where the noted got depleted during the crafting animation. Could be bias, but it felt like worlds where I was alone or with 1-2 others resulted in more AFK time (has been months since I last did this method, so I could be wrong) All in all I agree with NoLeather: Amazing method to do if you have to pay semi-attention/have the chance to look away from your work at irregular intervals. Less ideal if you want to stay afk for minutes on end. Big money maker though, with how slow it is and how much raw profit you make (especially soul runes), the endurance investment got paid back 2,5x I think. If not more

The only thing you can add on top of the AFK-ness of this activity is Home Teleport every 30 minutes. Saves you a bit of time when it's time to run to the altar.

I recently got a job that lets me afk most of the day and the boss doesn't mind either! I've binged all your afk videos and most of your others. Right now I've been AFKing magics to unlock redwoods for my lantern. Lysst week I Afk'd my way to a coal bag. Anything you think i should afk for an Ironman with base 80s in every skill?

Good info man, I've done it for a few hours here and there when I get a blood essence but honesty I prefer just sending ZMI or something in small bursts for RC. You should be using blood essence tbh. You make WELL over what you need to make back the profit. Could have added the cost and subtracted it in the guide. It's definitely a worthwhile investment.
