Welcome onboard my winning POV Full Run at the first ever Mountain Bike Mass Start Race in Asia.

The « Himalayan Enigma » was organized in the heart of Nepal, in Dolakha. More than being the first ever Mass Start race in Asia, it was also the biggest one in term of vertical drop (9000 feet), compared to the famous Megavalanche in L’Alpe D’Huez - France.

The track has been drawn on an ancestral path. The ‘Trail of the Gods‘ derives its name from the paths traveled by the exiled Pandava Brothers during their 13-year exile in the ancient Hindu epic, the Mahabharata. Among them, Bhimsen was revered as a god, with the Dolakha Bhimsen Temple marking his divine presence along this legendary trail.
Each rider started 150 feet below a sky-high Kalinchowk Bhagwati temple at 12361 ft and finished at the Tamakoshi River at 2821 ft.

At the end, YES, I won the « Himalayan Enigma » ! But as you know, it was clearly not the goal. On the other hand, I’m proud to donate my prize money to Arun, to pay the fee for his school, in addition to all the gifts that you’ve given to the Katmandou bike scene.

Hi Kilian! Your resilience and experience of rescue and first aid really worked out the other day. I couldn’t have made it without aid from you and the team, specially the Heli rescue as further injuries were prevented. Just wanted to let you know that you and your team were the right people at the right place for me specially and I appreciate the help immensely. Sorry to slow you down at the section where I crashed tho haha. Other than this, hope you had a really wonderful time here in Nepal and can’t wait to ride together the next time you’re back!

What an AMAZING run! You're not only incredible on the bike, but also a lovely person. Heartwarming gift for the boy to win the race for him and his education. On a sidenote: loving the comments while you race. The little detail, emotions, information. It feels like we're with you a little bit along the ride. Loving it <3

Dear Killian. I am a loyal fan of yours in all races. I don't know what I find more impressive; the beauty and difficulty of the routes you take or your bravery bordering on bravado, interesting and witty comments and the personal charm of a good, brave man. I simply lack the words to express my admiration for you. May the good Lord God always have you in his care, French brother. Best regards - Tadeusz from Poland

I have never watched a race before, on YOU TUBE where I twitched and leaned so much as I watched it, to avoid the trees, that I was tired at the end. The Go Pro is amazing. Loved the comments too. As someone who used to also race and do pretty I did well, I think you would had left me in the dust. You have a true gift and what you have done with your winnings, proves what a humble Champion you are. You have gain another fan today!
  • This man is insane, god... And he clear the leans for us too, what a guy ! Love from Brasil 😁😁😁😁

Thanks for taking us along on a great run. I can feel your exhaustion on the uphill climbs and the panic in the technical sections.
  • The camera is brilliant, sound & image great, we could hear whistles in the background and was getting nervous thinking someone was catching you up....buy hey, your Killian, a down hill god 😊👍😉

As a Nepali, I had no idea Nepal have this big of a mountain biking race event. Been following you for a long long time and glad to see these event getting organized here in Nepal. Anyway, I really enjoyed your video. Good luck on your future endeavors Killian.
  • @Firesoul001
That was so brutal ! I'm glad I'm sitting here watching and not riding that trail. Any 2-minute section of that race would have killed me. Great race, great video, and great rider. All the comments and information make the whole experience more real and more human, as does your decision to donate the prize money. You're a great rider, a great athlete, and a great human being. Please make sure you don't die so can keep on being all of those things.
  • @Real_MisterSir
Who needs a front suspension when you have Kilian's arms that can take punishment for 1 hour like this 🤣 Absolutely amazing run, well deserved!
  • @lisalamb2375
What a great video. Coming from an old woman, you make me feel a little bit younger watching your bike rides, remembering when I used to ride like hell on dirt paths in New England. Thanks for the memories. Hope your friend who crashed is doing well. Loved that you gave the money to a youngster for school. Looking forward to your next adventure. Also liked the comments that you put in English for us old people who only know one language. Knew French once. over 60 years ago, but not anymore.
