    I like the fact we've been getting to hear from Wes Clark.

    This was impressive draft management. The Leafs walked away with a promising mobile right shooting defender then set about maximizing their draft capital. They even kicked a 2nd round pick to the barren early rounds of the next draft. They picked some interesting players at all positions in the later rounds. Then if that was not enough, they used a 7th round pick for permission to speak with Tanev. Just fine "GMing" all around.

    Was nice seeing Wes answer some questions. Very knowledgeable and quick to answer. Was also not shy to spread the love to his team.

    Anyone whos mad about Tanev or doesn’t like it simply doesn’t watch other teams. Tanev can shut down almost everyone, he’s aging but hes the best option w out giving up everything.

    After signing Tanev up, let's hope for one of Brandon Montour or Brett Pesce or Matt Roy as another Right Shot Defensemen or Nikita Zadorov minutes after Noon on July 1st!

    I initially had my doubts about Tree but I think he's done an incredible job considering the empty cupboard that Dubas left them. I like him a lot !!

    Ben Danford. There is a reason why they gave him a letter in his draft year. W heard nothing but positives. But what I’ve been reading between the lines. Danford’s blood sweat. Tears and Heart are on each of his jerseys. That is exactly what Leafs need for the future. And I’ve heard the young man is very well respected by the players. And he’s only 17. That speaks volumes about his game. He needs to build on that as well. I think he will dandy a few years down the road.

    when they were talking abt 7 years for tanev to keep the cap hit low i thought they meant like 2m per year. 4x7 for a 34 year old tanev is absolutely criminal

    Seems like it doesn't matter where interviews are held but the NHL cannot figure out how the hell to make it easy to hear. Armature for sure

    Tanev is a fantastic add despite his age. We just have to be ultra careful on the term. He’s gonna be 35 before years end. 2 years would be be ideal but I get if they need to add a 3rd to get it done. Anything more would be irresponsible.
