A 23.1lb 5 bass limit in 2 hours on lake Champlain.

We intended to fish for crappies on this day, but we ended getting our limits pretty quickly and then decided to bass fish. It only took one stop to find this great limit of champlain largemouths. We caught all the fish off max scent generals in the black and blue color wacky rigged. Unfortunately I lost the footage of the last 3 fish because the camera overheated. Mikes 5.0lb and I had two at 4.5 each.

I've fished Champlain, St. Lawrence Seaway, Thousand Islands (Alex Bay), and most lakes in the Adirondaks area. The Bass fishing was great, but secondary to the Pike and Walleye fishing! That was excellent, and when you got taught the right way to clean Pike, the Pike was better eating than were the Bass. My PB was a 5' Pike almost as long as I was tall. I returned that one, set it free for another to enjoy catching it. I used to fish from my Tug, the Lockport, or the Pittsford every evening for Bass to help feed my crew, the best fishing was from Rochester west to Niagra. The water was clear as glass there on the Canal. And the fishing was very good back in the 80's.
