  • Imagine looking out of the window and seeing a scared hamster cleaning your window

One of the toughest jobs in the world Respect to the cleaning team
  • Don't be fooled, while the building might look impressive, Hammond is so small that the windows they are cleaning are in fact on a bungalow.

Hammond looks like a really low/short budget version of Tony Stark
  • I’ve been doing this 8 years now. Best job I ever had. Keeps you fit, doesn’t feel like work and if you get bored just look down! We’re cool with people looking down, we say never look up. Because you’ll see a mistake that is invariably made whilst cleaning windows stacked up over 600feet high. Good to see hammond gave it a crack. Believe it or not I’ve never seen anyone freeze up or panic and I’ve worked with over a hundred people in it now. Could be lucky

Clarkson: Meanwhile, Hammond cleans the tallest building - in the world...

“It’s harder than it looks” Nooooo, it looks as hard as it actually is.
  • @krrubby
"It's harder than it looks" I most definitely never said that looks easy

Just going to say, visiting Dubai, more specifically the burj khalifa, is definitely one of those bucket list entries, just the fact that you can say “I’ve been inside the worlds tallest building” is an amazing brag, not just that the view from the highest the general public can go, makes all the other skyscrapers you see in Dubai, becomes dwarfs by comparison, it’s truly amazing
  • Imagine cleaning skyscraper's glass and you see a plane heading towards you on the reflection of the glass

Hammond: I could not do this for a job. Him: Does it for his job anyway

First thought, "Is The Hamster going to roll that building in a ditch ??!?" I love this series, and I think Hammond gets better and better with time.

He clearly isn’t afraid of heights, he’s cleaning a window at 828m where I can’t even be half of that
