I grew up on 2004 I didn’t even know that show existed this long

For those who don’t know: This to show was made in Iceland, and the town was an exaggeration of a little town in Iceland called Borgarnes! And I am Icelandic and live there! So? Well the Icelandic writer who made this used to be a babysitter in his early twenties! And my dad! (Who now is 46) used to be babysitted by the writer! Don’t believe me google it! And a few months ago the writer actually came to my school and made a presentation for the whole school! Here are some things to google if you don’t believe me!: Where was lazy town made? Who wrote lazy town? Who is Magnus Schefing? What was the inspiration for Lazy town? Even though The show was originally written in English! It still is Icelandic! Edit: I forgot to tell this but! The filming for these episodes happened in a big building in Reykjavik and the building is now an IKEA! But in the town hall for Borgarnes we have a room full of props and costumes from the lazy town filming! My mom works at the town hall and she has often been to the room! Even though a lot of the props and costumes burned down in the last fire of the summer! We still have the iconic letter sender! Where the letter gets sent!

Idk why it’s such a shock to find out another human being grew up but it’s crazy to see someone from your childhood all grown up now
