They must have a lot of confidence in their product if they need to make sure you are contractually obligated to not say anything negative :D
  • @FilipeHyphen
This is funny. They offered you a bunch of money to get the bike for free, make a few videos and NEVER say anything negative about it. Instead, you reject their offer, buy the bike yourself, and absolutely embarrass the entire company for not only making a terrible and straight up dangerous motorcycle, but for trying to buy a positive and deceitful review. Amazing. This is great content
  • @andru9102
A review is not a review if you can only make positive comments, it becomes an advertisement.Well done for purchasing and being honest. One of the reasons we love your channel 👍
  • 6:10 means that you gotta let go the throttle while you're shifting the gear, otherwise you will destroy it. It's warning from the factory saying that they dont provide good quality clutch :D
  • @94concours
Can’t keep a straight line, because it was born for the twisties! 😂
  • "Gear shift is prohibited unless throttle is loosed" = "roll off the throttle before shifting"
  • @browngreen933
We need an entire YouTube channel devoted to honestly testing Chinese motorcycles.

I got one with 8 miles on it for 700$, it’s my first bike, been loving going back and forth to work on it. It has a lot of issues, vibrates a lot, not super confidence inspiring. But it’s what I’ve got and I’m learning a lot riding it, just always feels like it’s gonna fall apart 😂
  • @ruckusamongus
I bought that exact same model last September and had it shipped from Texas venom motorsports in a steel crate. It was 95 percent assembled. My very first bike. I knew nothing of what to expect. I had nothing to compare it to. Good guys. Decent customer service. I got everything for like 3k n some change. You are correct..it is exciting for all the wrong reasons that's in a nutshell. Since I was a beginner, I thought well hell I guess this is what it's like to get into motorcycles" i got 500 miles on the little homie before that engine blew apart. Goodtimes. I don't regret it though. I learned a lot. Mine was even carburetored hahaa! Almost turned me all the way off as far as riding, but it didn't. It was definitely a learning experience. I don't regret it . I've since purchased a gixxr600 and 2012 gixxr750. I'm passionate about riding. I'll never forget my little whungwhang 250cc 16 hp 5 speed carburetored superperformance venom ! I'm 46 years old. I enjoy your videos and have learned quite a bit mr noob. Thanks. Scott
  • @maxk8787
From what you said it might be a possibility that the speedometer is set to kph instead of mph. That would explain your 60 in a 40
  • @axelfoley5155
Thanks yamm! What you did here shows you put your heart into these videos! Great job on the keeping it real part!
  • @ALoneGrunt
I don’t have a motorcycle, I’m looking to get my first and learn (almost 31, old virgin here) and have been consuming your stuff like crazy past few days. This video was a nice change from all the beginner videos I’ve been zoomin through, fun and funny watch
  • @zhaopeiyu
Yammie, I have some knowledge of the Chinese motorcycle industry and the bike you purchased is colloquially known as a "地平线" or "Horizon" in China. The name refers to a wide range of extremely cheap "sporty" bikes in China with typically Ninja 300 styling and a single- or twin-cyclinder air-cooled SOHC engine produced by a small number of fly-by-night factories and rebadged under dozens of manufacturer names. These things can barely be called motorcycles and almost all are not road legal in China.
  • Buying the bike, instead of trading a bs review for a free bike was an excellent move.
  • @smithyengs
Just found your channel. The honesty and a fair review including negatives is refreshing and good to see.
  • @jw0223
If the essence of motorcycling is for the thrills, then the wayward handling would constitute a feature that was initially a bug.
  • Yam, thanks so much for this video. Venom is constantly trying to peddle this garbage. Chase on 2 wheels must have signed that contract, he gave it a good review. Glad you told the truth. I knew these were shit lol
  • @johnwilliams4806
Thx for the content im new into this and it’s good to see such a detailed video.. you saved someone life and or money with this one
  • I had a Chinese outboard, ended up throwing it as the shaft twisted, very cheap, soft metal. It was a real eye opened for me.
