The number of ultra-orthodox teenagers who end up in crisis in emergency departments due to suicidal ideation over their gender identities and sexual preferences is absolutely heartbreaking. The world would be shocked if they realized how often this happens.

As a transgender and bisexual jew, I feel so privileged and blessed to be accepted in my community as a conservative jew, and I'm sending my prayers to those that aren't accepted. I see you. I give you my heart.

This gives me hope as a gay Jew. Sadly I know that I’ll never be accepted in the orthodox movement. Reform is where I belong.

  • I'm a, how do you yanks put it?, a 'cis' male, from Ireland, I'm a Christian, God does not punish people for the people they love he punishes for those who hate, doesn't matter who you hate you'll be judged for that, we have a suicide epidemic in Ireland, especially Derry, people are struggling, all of us, I support everyone, no matter what.
  • Thank you for doing this great work. May it be more and more successful, and I hope everyone in the community can become aware of its existence.
