I've just been kicked out of my Splatoon 1 lobby and can't reconnect. I'll miss this game so much it was great

Remember how in S1, beating the final boss was a mandatory requirement in order to obtain Dynamo Roller, giving single players an advantage online over people who never touched the single player campaign? I remember.

My favorite part of s1 was simply the way it looked. The visuals in splatoon 1 are different from the other 2 games in a way i cant describe, but i loved the way it looked Also dual squelcher

The heeew style video is amazing

As someone who hasn’t played this game before, I feel a major sense of dread and sadness that I never got to experience it, but am glad I can still play newer installments.

What made Splatoon 1 fun for me personally, is that even if it was broken in terms of kits and balancing, I still had a ton of fun trying out every weapon, every kit, and finding out their use in battle. While going to S2/S3 It just feels like the game forces me to play a specific set of weapons or else ill lose the game and do terrible.

Luci absolutely popped off on this video, I can't imagine how much time it must have taken to make. It was all completely worth it though, I was genuinely tearing up at the amount of nostalgia packed into these only 6 minutes Rest in peace, Splatoon 1. We will never forget you, brokenness and all

Thank you for everything Splatoon, I will miss you with all my heart and soul. I remember pre-ordering you as a young boy in 2015, and played you for hundreds of hours and hours on end. The sheer excitement, thrills and joy I experienced from you were unfathomable, and I couldn't be more grateful. Split & Splat was always my favourite track in the game, and to this day, my favourite in the series. It was a pleasure to experience the final few hours with players from all across the world on the Nintendo Network. We squid party'd our way to the disconnection message, and will keep on doing so through your memory. You are a staple of my life. And of course, forever and ever, you will always stay fresh to me :,) <3

I definitely enjoyed how wacky and immensely POWERFUL everything felt in this game. The specials, some of the main weapons. They just felt so damn powerful and ridiculous it was amazing
