I just want to give props to the E46 owner, for not swapping out the kidney grille surrounds. Nine out of ten E46's you see all have either piano black or CF surrounds, but I actually prefer them OEM. I'm not digging the peanut butter coloured seats though.

That is quite a well built e46. I wouldn’t second guess your e90 purchase. You throw that e46 mod money into your e90 and the result will be different. Hell you don’t even have to put that much money into the e90. Some exhaust work and coilovers will change the experience all together.

Honestly BOTH are incredible. I have lust after the E9X M3 now that I have an E46 M3 lol. That E46 M3 is SWEET! I LOVE all of his mods! One thing I was surprised to hear him say is that he has a little nit of steering play in his connection to the steering rack. I have the 330CI early (2001) Steering rack on my E46 M3 and I haven't really had the chance to compare it with a standard E46 M3. My car was made out of two cars. The 2002 (made in 2001) 330CI the rack is from and the body of that car as well and all the other parts are from a 2006 Competition M3. I also have catless headers and a short shift for that "Rifle action" he was talking about. Plus the tune I did myself from the E46 M3 S54 Build Journal series. So I believe I actually have the best of the OEM type stuff. But I'm so jealous of this mans mods! That Eventuri Intake is KILLER! And the rest of his CF I love as well! Oh I just heard he has 4.10 diff gearing. Now I hate him LOL. Just kidding!

E46 M3 is cool but the steering wheel is absolutely horrible! I’d get a mint E46 M3 competition wheel & that’d look killer, and you’d have a lot better control, those small steering wheels are horrible! I love both cars but there’s no doubt I’d take the E92! You do a full exhaust, intake & tune on that bad boy & it’ll annihilate the E46. That S65 is a killah…..✌🏻💯🏁
