What is worse than not knowing what an assault rifle is, is having absolutely zero understanding of why we have a second amendment. They will understand, but only when it's way too late.

This is the case almost everywhere, they don't realize that they don't know what it is and the fact "assault weapons" is nothing but a buzz word, so much for college imo

And to think, all those children's parents are just as ignorant. It's a shame there's no follow-up question, will politicians protect us?

I went to college after 4 years in the Navy, back in the 90s. It was painful to think down to the level of my non-vet classmates.

Their level of ignorance is amazing. They need to follow a simple rule: If you are ignorant on a topic, keep your lips together. I have no knowledge of ballet, therefore I do not speak about it.

Also, you'd be surprised how many people think all guns are "fully automatic" other than just self loading when it cycles

I've been calling for a 2A gun class taught in high school akin to driver's ed since I was in high school in the 00s. But when people are educated they will lose their fear and the pundits will lose their control, so it won't happen.

The one chick that repeated the same tired old canard about "when the 2nd amendment was written you took 10 minutes to reload your musket." I was in a discussion at the park not that long ago about guns (that I inserted myself into) and that very same logic was stated. My response to her was easy: "So you believe our 2nd amendment should not allow any advanced gun technology beyond was was available way back then." I got a proud and prompt "Yes. That is how gun ownership should be restricted." I then asked; "Then I say the same should apply to your 1st amendment rights should it not? Put your smart phone down. No communicating or watching opinion on tv or computer. No mass printing presses, mass communication has to devolve back to the same level of advancement." She mumbled away to her car........

They’re being taught all about how beautiful socialism is 😂. That’s why they think guns are bad.

They seriously need to teach the true meaning of the 2A in high school... before they reach voting age.

These kids don't even bother to research what they are disagreeing with, they just follow their heart and think they already know everything.

We have to change the voting laws. U have to take a test to steer a car on a public rd. We def need a test in order to earn the right to steer the future of this once great nation.
