Seperation Anxiety with Marty & Biff

Published 2019-01-30
Welcome back to our channel.

Today's video is all about seperation anxiety. An issue we have struggled with since we first got Marty but we can now see a silver lining.

We are not experts in the advice we give. What we say is only coming from our own personal experience and trial and error.

This is exactly what’s happening with my 3 month old mini girl. It isn’t about the crate, it’s being separated from me period. She will cry if she can’t follow me everywhere/see me. I was able to calm her down in the crate as long as she could see me and I stayed in the same room with her, but even then she’d have moments of yelling at me that she’s still in there. What’s worse is she pees out of stress too, and she doesn’t care if she lays or steps in it, so I’ve been having to wash her paws and tail almost every time I put her in there. I can’t use puppy pads to help with the mess because she rips them up and makes a mess. It’s awful. I don’t want her upstairs until she’s fully potty trained because it’s fully carpeted so just doing laundry leaving her downstairs with my boyfriend is a huge ordeal because she won’t calm down until I come back, even though she’s not in the crate. I have had a hard time finding people with the same issue so this was comforting. Thank you for sharing. I’d love to know what’s happened in the last couple years since this video was posted and if he ever accepted the separation.
