Beavers can cause a tremendous amount of grief for land owners and turn a nice stream into a miserable swamp in a year or 2. Good job clearing things out. 👍👍 Should have added, that no beavers were injured in the making of this video.

Good way to pull out a beaver dam. Two sticks of dynamite 30 years ago pushed down about 6 feet into the beaver dam did the trick too. Fixed a flooded 600 acres so we could go back in and hunt whitetail deer. Glad to see that bank held up for you to do your thing. Doing good work.

Enjoyed watching that one. That machine is priceless in that situation. Almost seemed like a bottomless mess for awhile there. You were moving incredible amounts of mud/debris.

Yes sir, prime cottonmouth haven there! We are 100 miles southeast of you and I don't break out the Conibears until January. Nothing like studying a dam and seeing one of the big limbs on top of the dam slide off and swim away!

Animals sometimes amaze me. Give a team of the world's best human engineers the materials and equipment the beavers have, and they would certainly fail to make what these animals have done.

Seem that you could pipe water out to irrigate other fields. California found that letting fields flood improved yield. Maybe pumping it to other fields would improve there ability to produce crops!

I have done that by hand to have the beavers to cut down our corn 🌽 and build it back over night. They are amazing creatures.
