About Duncan 1900 Homestead

We have a 10 acre farm in mid western Missouri. Our home was built in 1900, and we heat it with 3 wood stoves including a wood cook stove. I do a lot of cooking on the wood cook stove during the Winter.
We raise chickens, rabbits, goats, sheep, and every Spring we get a couple of pigs from our Amish friends to raise for putting in the freezer in the Fall.
We have a couple of good size gardens, one of which is just for tomatoes. I do a lot of canning and dehydrating from the gardens.
I also like to do a lot of DIY projects. I like to repurpose and reuse items that would other wise end up in a landfill some where.
