About Martyn Harvey the Poet

Martyn Harvey is a new author and illustrator of children's books, including The Boy with the Saucepan Hat, the forthcoming Bugs, Beasts and Biscuits and Mr Wibberley Wobberley's Amazing Flying Bicycle.

Martyn is based in Ramsgate, Kent, and The Wirral. His books feature very funny stories for kids illustrated in a bright, quirky contemporary style using ink and watercolour.

Born in Penzance, Cornwall, studied at Leicester and Huddersfield Universities (BA in Music, MA in Composition), having worked as Technical Writer and Web developer for decades, Martyn now focusses on producing his growing collection of funny stories and poems for kids.
