Welcome to Growing in Portland. A personal journey into living a more sustainable life.

This is the artist formally known as East Oakland Aquatics.

I’m a small-scale home gardener growing food and plants in Portland, Oregon, Parkrose Area, Zone 8B. I mainly garden in-ground, with some gardening beds. I plan to add small containers and grow bags in the near future. I also like to maintain fish tanks as it shows how life is sustained underwater.

My goal is to show my personal transformation into growing food and living a more sustainable life. I want to educate people and show them how they can grow their own food without using chemicals and pesticides.
