Learning new technologies by using the educational mentoring process was impossible for me to master.
The bits and pieces of technology that I've learned was done by the Do-It-Yourself, Trial-And-Error method.

I couldn't begin to tell you how many perfectly good toys, appliances and electronic gadgets I've ruined by taking them apart, thinking I could improve on them somehow or, just to see what made them tick. It's a sickness of some kind; a psychological malady that started when I was in elementary school.

I'm a dyslexic Do-It-Yourselfer. It's incredibly difficult for me to learn anything by reading instructions.
A lifetime of Hands-On DIY Trial-And-Error learning has made me the TECH-RETARD I am today.
