About Live For The Hills

I’ve loved hill and mountain walking since I was a child, walking in our National Parks including The Peak District, The Lakes, and the mountains of Scotland, Wales and Ireland which have always been a great source of relaxation for me, my love of mountains has taken me to the Himalayas in Nepal, the Andes, the Alps and to the mountains of Spain and the Canaries, I’ve walked the volcanoes of Ecuador and trekked to the wonderful beauty that is Machu Pichu in Peru, and I’ve been fortunate to visit the mountains and glaciers of Patagonia in Chile and Argentina, but I’m equally at home in my native Yorkshire amongst the Dales and the Peak District moorlands which I love so well !
