I'm from Philippines, but now living in New York City.

I’m mostly self-taught in Piano.
I had few classes about music theory (back in High School and in College) but I keep forgetting the stuffs 😅
I learned all my piano covers through watching other people, midi tutorials, and music sheets...
I still don't know lots of things about music theory, so what I do is, I first listen to the song to get the tempo down, then I try to play the melody first and bass next, just to get the hang of it. When I get it, I then try putting it together by playing it both hands. I also memorize the song/piece at the same time when learning it, so you will often see me without sheets or Synthesia at the background of my videos.
I'm motivated to make my own arrangement if I really really like the song.
