I've been doing woodworking as a hobby for a number of years, and used to do it as a side business . I got burned out on the tedium of making mundane items, so recently my focus has turned to building instruments. With my lifelong love of classical music, my next goal is starting to learn violinmaking, which I consider the Mount Everest of woodworking.
