About Gary Kessler

This channel is dedicated to my grandchildren, children, family, and friends. My intentions are to educate and inform. I’m starting with my earliest memories and my parents and grandparents. Not a genealogy exploration but what I can remember. I intend to try and share what it was like growing up in the 50s,60s, and 70s. Including inventions, technology, and starting in 1960 an in depth discovery of music. Why 1960? That’s the year I turned 8 and that’s about the year I started getting interested in music also that is the year that music started changing thanks to the Beatles and The Rolling Stones. Each year I will review the best songs and the evolution of musical groups and their historical influences and also inventions and historical events. In the past two and a half years I’ve discovered music that I listened to sixty years ago, but the difference is I actually listened to the music instead of just hearing it. For me it was a life changing experience by rediscovering music.
