Chandan Kumar is an Indian classical Flautist pursuing the south Indian system poularly known as Carnatic music/Karnataka Sangetham.He is the great grandson of the violin legend Mysore Sri T.Chowdaiah.Chandan is a top ranking artiste of the AIR and Doordarshan.His concert accross India and overseas has earned him an ephithate 'a singing flautist'.Government of India has honoured him with the title 'Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar' from the Sangeet Natak Academy-New Delhi.Chandan is an active performer and a Guru to many aspirant disciples seeking this noble art form.
