Welcome to my channel Unhidden Heroines, where I share on topics such as traveling, teaching English, overcoming drug and alcohol addiction as well as recovery from sexual trauma. Let me tell you a bit more about myself.

Ever since I was a girl I had dreamt of traveling the world. When I was 20 years old, I survived a significant trauma when I was kidnapped from small-town Oklahoma's Walmart parking lot and sexually assaulted. I spent years suffering from addiction, anxiety, and depression until I found the courage to start therapy, where I spent years digging through pieces inside, until finally I had the courage to buy a one-way ticket to Colombia to pursue my dream of traveling the world.

When the pandemic hit, I knew it was time to write my book. Unhidden Heroines is the name of my book series and clothing line - links for my book and travel merch are below! I welcome you to follow my journey across borders, where we can face our fears together and fly.
